Co-founder of the mental health organisation ‘Innate Health’ and author of the book ‘Exquisite Mind’ Terry Rubenstein here draws on her own experience as not only a mental health counsellor but also a victim of depression to explain how and why recovering from depression is all about a paradigm shift in one's attitude. She states (minute 4:03) ‘seeing where our feelings come from, 100% of the time, from the inside rather than from the outside.’ In other words, once a person takes charge of their thoughts and feelings instead of blaming other factors, that is when inner peace will be achieved.
