Our own Ollie Anisfeld interviews Rabbi Daniel Rowe (Head of Aish UK) in a fireside chat to discuss whether or not Judaism and the Torah have a political affiliation, in other words, is the Bible conservative or liberal? Rabbi Rowe explains (minute 1:28) ‘that the Torah doesn’t view the political structure as really critical primary, it views the society as critical and primary.’ He discusses social philosophy and the framework by which Torah measures the success of a society, not by through what the government is doing, but rather by the interpersonal relations between people.
